Fleet Expansion: J & R Herra to the RESCUE!!!

I was thumbing through some family photo albums last week and stumbled upon some old pictures of our company from the early 1970s, 80s, and 90s. It was a proud moment to realize how consistently our family’s business principles and philosophies have stayed intact; however, it was equally rewarding to see how much J & R Herra has developed and grown over the last forty years.

One of the most evident ways we have expanded is our capacity to serve more customers, in the broader western Chicagoland area. Where our local Elburn business use to sustain its customer base with four company trucks, we now maintain and circulate over twenty-six service vehicles. Our J & R Herra fleet includes consultation vehicles, vans, trucks, trailers, and excavation equipment.

So what does this mean? How does this change us as company and impact the greater community of which we serve? To begin with, our fully stocked vehicles are ready for fast action, 24-hour service. Or diverse fleet is ready to handle any plumbing, heating, air conditioning, geothermal, or electrical project with speed, technical expertise, and the finest craftsmanship. We strive to have what you need on hand at all times including, but not limited to, a vast assortment of fixtures, units, and parts of the utmost quality.

Within the last several years, we have proudly embraced an array of excavation equipment to extend our service repertoire. Our excavation truck, trailer, mini backhoe, and two skid steers accompany our experienced team when customers reach out with sewer and waterline repair needs. We have refined this component of our service fleet to reflect the specific needs of the homeowners and clients in our area. Specifically, our excavation service technicians and machinery are equipped to repair or install the following:

  • install city sewer pipes
  • waterlines
  • drains
  • storm sewers
  • electric lines
  • gas lines
  • geothermal heating and cooling loops
  • tree root extraction and repair

Thankfully, our growing fleet has been well received in the Kane County, and western Chicagoland area. Our service vehicles are riddling the street, homes, and businesses AND doing what they do best…offering a sense of comfort, health, and safety to a community of people we care deeply about.
