GEOTHERMAL HEATING & COOLING

How Geothermal Systems Work.

Low Carbon Footprint. Smart Investment. Longer Lifespan.

Geothermal heating and cooling systems take advantage of the natural, even temperature several feet beneath the Earth’s surface.
A loop of pipes is installed underground, which circulates water.

In the winter, these water pipes absorb the relative heat beneath the earth and deliver it to a heat pump, which warms your home.

In the summer, the reverse of this happens because the temperature underground is cooler than the outside air.

Types of Geothermal Heat Pump Systems

There are four basic types of ground loop systems. The type that is best for your home or business depends on the climate, soil conditions, available land, and local installation costs at the site.
